Yearly Market Comparison 2008-2009
If you didn't already know, sales in Jackson Hole are down this year. We are submerged in a "buyer's market" and I am not the economic professional that can tell you when this will end. I still have a positive attitude about what is going on. If you are a buyer out there and you have the capitol to make an offer in the area, you are in charge. There are some beautiful homes and properties out there that can be picked up at hugely discounted prices. I believe the times of complaining that "Jackson is way too expensive for me" are gone for the time being. This is the time for the young buyer or maybe the renter who couldn't afford a small townhome to take a shot. There have not been this many townhomes between $200,000 and $300,000 in years. We are also seeing the European buyer now interested in the Jackson area which I think will definitely help support the town's economy in the coming year. Of course, there are still people out there that will always have the ability to buy here in Jackson Hole.
